It certainly deserves a place somewhere for resurrecting this thread, Ian!
I own a 12-string Hamer as well, but it's one of the more angular models, a CH-12.I've also got a Waterstone Tom Petersson model in red/yellow burst that sees more use than the Hamer. It's a killer guitar and better balanced than the Hamer because of a heavier and larger LP-style body.
Back to best-looking. Your Hamer is well-proportioned and well-finished, with great attention to detail and (judging from mine) excellent playability, too.
If I had to numerically rate it:
Aesthetics: 7.5
Quality: 9 (this is an American-made bass, too)
