Fulltone arrived a couple of days ago...hokey smokes....tried it nice and easy..just a light slapback with a Tele....hmmmm pretty nice...we can use that...tried the 330/6...hmmmm..sparkle sparkle....we can use that...ok, Jazzmaster into Echo into outboard reverb into dualshowman...good grief...can you hear that Paul..wait a sec I'll turn it up a tad...thing is..the echo unit and the outboard reverb both can be adjusted for the amount of boost desired...got that how I like it (on the edge) and just enough delay to fatten up the tone...now at a break at the end of a run or whatever..there's a very quick repeat and still the reverb lingers in the air for several seconds..yep we CAN use that.....oh boy oh boy.....!

Is this your first "tape echo," George?

Yep..I'd been using when called for, the H20 pedal by Visual sound which is quite good for a non tape pedal. The Fulltone and I imagine other tape echos, seem to be much more musical and "in the air" I've owned several Fender Vibrotones which do a much better job at being a Leslie (because they are) then the clone pedals, but always sold them as I didn't want to lug one around...the Fulltone does a great job in a small package...

Yah, right now I just don't have enough to hustle to swing one of those. I do have some stuff to sell soon, but that has to cover bills and saving for my wedding next year. Its the beginning of the end for me.....Image

Not meaning to deflect the thread, but my own Dynacord unit, shipped from Germany on 7/03, finally arrived today via DHL, about 5 weeks late. Now I've got to get a line plug adapter and I'm ready to go. Seller kindly included extra loops and special DIN-1/4 adaptors, which he makes to order.

Fingers crossed...

Congrats, Greg!

If only Fulltone had a "Wedding Gift Registry" like Bed Bath and Beyond...

"The Fulltone and I imagine other tape echos..."

Wow! In such a short period of time, George and his Fulltone have had a Spock-like "mind meld" and are now thinking in unison.

Now that's something you can't do with a mere effects pedal...

Paul: Well at last. Not a great ad for DHL. No tracking number? Were you able to find out where it has been?

Thanks for the congrats guys. She's from the Philippines so maybe I'll get lucky and she'll let me continue my G.A.S. habit sometimes....

(If I already had the Fulltone, you could hear the echoes of the laughs at that statement dying down very slowly) Image
