Listen to my 4001..

Post by anoukane »

I just wrote my own song. I'm busy with searching for bandmembers, meanwhile I already wrote and recorded a song. I ain't much of a guitar player so there are only "power chords" and no guitar solo. I ain't much of a singer either, so there are no vocals. But the good thing is that I used my Rickenbacker 4001 from 1978.

Great work, especially for your first song! Image

What are you using for your distortion?

I used the software Guitar Rig 2 and used an Ampeg tube head simulator. Quite some gain and drive and mid scooped.

Now that would be called some serious, uncompromising 4001 tone. Great!Image
A Rickenbacker bass is much like the Jaguar E car - perennially ultra-fashionable.

I really like your song, nice interesting rhythms and mood changes and it all most goes with out say but your 4001 is the dogs bo***cks!

I wish you good luck with your band.
