Frank & Joe's Excellent Rickenbacker Jam Day

Post by rick_ovic »

Melbourne based members of the RickResource Forum gathered today at the home of Frank and Joe Naccarata, where we enjoyed an afternoon of delicious food, cold beer, great company and, of course, playing a Rickenbacker or two.

Here's Frank Naccarata getting used to the super-thin neck of my '64 RM 1999:-

Frank and Ron Viney (playing his beloved 360V64 FG, which is now fitted with super cool gold guards and TRC):-

Here's Greg Rahilly with has trusty 350 JG:-

Frank's also taken up the drums; multi-talented lad he is:-

Here's Greg and Aitch "Duelling E Chords":-

Finally, here's a rare photo of the newest Forum member of our gang. Frustrated that he could no longer lurk here, thanks to the new "sign in" procedures, Joe Naccarata has finally joined the Forum. We extend an official welcome to you, Joe.
He cooks a mean steak, too. Image

I really wish everyone could join Aitch and I at the SoCal confluence next week.

Thanks again to the Naccarata family for your generous hospitality and for allowing us to rock your neighbourhood. Image

It looked like it was a great time guys. I wish I was there.

Joe, welcome aboard. You will be amazed as to how many roads this place can take you down.

Aitch and Darren will be on stimulation overload with two Ric events, on two Hemispheres, within one week. Image

My first post honours my hard working Aussie colleagues. We had a great day, they just love to play and it's fantastic to be with them. I have been captivated by the forum , I don't know what it is but there is a tremendous chemistry between the members.
I hope everyone has a great time at SOCAL and watch out the Aussies are coming. Darren and Aitch are in fine form .

Another great day with fellow Aussie forumites! Thanks to Joe and Frank for hosting and it was great to meet Sammy as well. Beautiful steaks, cold beer and some 'rough and ready' jamming....... always great fun. Image

I'll post some pics in the morning....... got to get to bed and get some 'ugly' sleep and make sure I'm in a fit state for when Trotty and I descend on the West Coast for some fun and games!

Nice to have you on board, Joe..... welcome! Image

Welcome to the forum Joe!
Looks like like you guys had a great time. The way you guys are dressed, it looks like it's a little cold there.
Some day I'll have to get down there.

It was very comfortable inside, Joey but we smokers have to rug up a little when we go outside to indulge ourselves. Image
