At 00:48 is a cameo by the guy who built and owned "Kookie"s T-Bucket hot rod roadster, Norm Grabowski. He's the delinquent caveman with the crewcut.

The Grabowski T-Bucket is credited with bringing the hot rod culture into legitimacy, as "Kookie" was more concerned with keeping his hair in place than stealing hubcaps. Prior to this, any hot rodder was considered incorrigible, thanks to media exploitation which cast the hobby in a bad light for half a decade.

Movies like "Drag Strip Girl" continued to be made, but more and more clean-cut kids started building rods because they looked cool and were a ticket to personal expression.

That girl gets today's "bad acting by a young female with a Madonna ack-ack bra" award.
