Radio Shack. These are identical except that there are no legends printed on the spun aluminum decorative caps.

ampwares.com also has them.

These come in three sizes. The two smaller ones are Rick-sized.

Paul,
Upon closer inspection the knobs sold by ampwares.com (http://www.ampwares.com/pics/knob_control_3.jpg)
appear to be the same part as the ones that I got from smallbear electronics, which are of a different shape, size and indicator.
Not the same part as what RIC, Kustom and others use/used unfortunately. I need them for a Kustom Tuck n' Roll amp actually.

Try the Radio Shack knobs, Gene. I've bought from ampwares before, and the ones I got were fine except for the inserts lacking the printing. Maybe they changed suppliers?

I suggest placing an ad here in the WANTED section, then

Gene - Didn't Radio Shack in Canada become "The Source"? I was in one the other day and to me it was indistinguishable from a Radio Shack, so they may have the knobs you're looking for.

Glad this thread came along - I was actually looking for a couple no-script metal inserts for my 460.

Steve - it did and I will try them. However it's owned by Circuit City and I believe they don't share the same suppliers as RadioShack. Thanks for the help guys.

Gene, If you need the exact ones as they used on old Kustom amps, and can't find "non-script ones, " get scripted ones from Rick; they are The Same as the ones Kustom used, but with added script. You can remove the script easily with a rag and judicious use of acetone.

DOD/Digitech also uses the exact knobs you're looking for on their vintage re-issue pedals. I was missing a knob on a Kustom amp years ago and I removed the knobs from a DOD Overdrive Preamp pedal I had and they looked right at home on my Kustom 200 head. The knobs DOD uses are also non-script. You might want to try DOD just for the heck of it, otherwise, the Rick knobs will also work great.
