"Turnover" - anybody wants to play?

Post by sowhat »

With Roy's approval, i'd like to offer you another music related game. See if it works.
The rules are quite simple: a well known phrase from a famous song (a classic song - 50s and 60s) is taken and all the words in it are replaced with antonyms - words with opposite meanings, or close to that, or even tenses, modality, etc may be changed, and the players should "reverse" it - guess which phrase, from which song was meant and who does it. The player who guessed the original song may take their turn & offer another "turnover".
Let the first one be...
They partly die on their blue plane.
Best regards,
SC.

We wholly live in our silver van down by the river?
“I say in speeches that a plausible mission of artists is to make people appreciate being alive at least a little bit. I am then asked if I know of any artists who pulled that off. I reply, 'The Beatles did.”

Sheena: The singer of this song is the least featured singer of this group!!
Searchers amongst my teenage favourite music. Still fond of them, but earnestly a little puzzled they are considered THIS big! But I'm very excited about this forum, and will love to read it regularly, and also contribute!
