My girlfriend (who doesn't play guitar) keeps reminding me of an Amber Fireglo 370/12 that we saw in a store last weekend. "That sure was a nice guitar, wasn't it?" she'll say. Or, "You know, you really should have tried that guitar. Maybe it was The One!" That's right, I didn't even dare try it because I KNEW I would like it. I already have a perfect Mapleglo 360/12, I don't need another Rickenbacker 12-string. Her response to that? Say it with me... "But what does NEED have to do with anything?"

I love her.

Oh, she cheerfully agrees with me when I say that it'll be different once we're married. Then it'll be, "But Honey, what about the new kitchen countertops that we really need?" The obvious solution is that we never get married. Sigh.

Hey, maybe I need to teach her to play the guitar!
