That '73 looks exactly like my '73 sans checkers!
Aluminum pup plate too.

Well, it's nice to have a few choices. I usually only play weekends, and I really don't need to have all the stuff I do, so I was just looking to see what you all thought.
I'm not wealthy, and it's conceivable, even likely, that I'll get myself into jam and need to sell some of my basses to squeeze through.
When that happens, of course I'll post it here first.
I don't have any good pics of the 71 yet. It's so damn clean and original that I would be very sad if I got it dinged up. So it's not a player, for me.
The 73 has an exceptional nice neck, and has been babied. Almost no fret wear using nickels, I feel comfortable gigging it...when we have a big stage environment. Small stages and things start bumping into things. This one also has Mark Arnquist's name inside.
The 86 is just a gas to play, super nice neck, Hipshot bridge. I've been using Roto stainless rounds, and the frets show some wear. It's my main squeeze right now, and the best-looking, in my eyes.
The 4004 is almost mint, save for one little ding in front on the clear, which is hard to see. It's so light and easy to play, but again, I'd hate to ding it up.
I shouldn't even have the DCM, since it'll never see a gig, lol.
