Hey now,,,,I just picked up a Peavey MAX preamp. Very cool sounding with the Ricks and my other basses.

Completely different than the Sansamp RBI.

I've just begun playing around with it,, but its one of those pieces of gear that just makes you go Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Yep, that was the 'House' rig for the hootnanny - the big old Peavey and the Ampeg 6x10. The owner played a custom made for Danny Gatlin Fender bass. It sounded good but the my Ric's sounded better....
