Storytellers with Ringo

Post by jps »

I was watching Storytellers on VH1 Classic tonight with Ringo. Mark Hudson was playing with him and for a couple songs at the end he played his purpleburst Rick, with an interesting mix of features: 370 OS with bound headstock, RM electronics and dots on the fingerboard!

I just posted this one over in the Artists section. Don't forget Joe Walsh with the Glenn Frey model, although I liked Mark's better.

I hadn't seen this episode before even though I think it said 1998 on the credits.

I hadn't seen it before, either. I didn't watch all of it so I did not see JW but I have the Eric Clapton Crossroads DVD that has Walsh in it playing his GF.

It is an older episode. I've mentioned this elsewhere here, but the lead guitarist in this video, Steve Dudas, was my roommate and bandmate in Pittsburgh back in the early 1970s. Obviously, he did a little better than I did with his music career. Image Steve's quite a player and has recorded with and written for Aerosmith and Ozzy. Visit his website: www.stevedudas.com
