I just saw this too. I hope that the end of the road isn't near for this legend.

I'd be willing to bet he was running on the treadmill for a heart stress evaluation. Most hospitals keep crash carts in the treadmill room, and that would have saved his life.

Diabetes is especially hard on traveling musicians, leads to all sorts of circulatory ailments especially in old age.
