Had an interesting evening at local spot Malone's tonight. First up was Hautewerk, which featured Kenny Howes and JH. Nice contemporary sound. Actually got to see a LS work, and a Ric bass sound like it should..but guys...enough rehearsing, get some guitars made, will ya (j/k)
Now J-dog and Dale Fortune are two guys that are just made for the stage. They'd still be playing if we had no time limits.
Darren Trott, Dave Pascoe. Two very talented dudes. I feel honored to know them, especially because they are both fine folk, who also brought their pretty spouses along for the ride. Some excellent versions of blues classics were heard, and Darren's wife Robin basically stole the show showing she had the shake that goes with the fries.
Can't believe the place tossed us at 9PM. Their loss. We got some real drinkers in the bunch.
PS - I miss Jeff Scott. Thought he was scheduled to be here.
