OK here's this week's.

Track is taken from a 1968 album and whilst act is famous the act did not achieve their fame in the music field.

Some critics panned the album but many years later some regard it as a work of genius.

It was destined to be a one off but 36 YEARS later a follow up album was released.

Who Is It? usual rules for any new players two attempts allowed 2 points if correct on first one point if it takes two.

My vote is in.
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

Have no idea who it is. Roy, you must have a rather large record collection Image
I will send along a complete guess though.

My guess is sent Roy. I doubt this would ever have seen the light of day if this person had not been famous.

The voice is a little different from other things we've heard by this artist, but there's no mistaking that style.

An fascinating rendition. Bold. Otherworldly. Years and years ahead of its time.
