Thanks D. I got lucky. This actually came through a local shop. And the action is the best action I've ever played on any 12 string anywhere. The relief as absolutley perfect.

I have one like that in a case in this very room. Nice!

My bandmate said it looks like a cross between a Rick 12 and a race car. So I think so I'm keeping it!

Mine corners well and doesn't leave oil in my driveway.

And it has never burst into flames. But then again, I think my playing could be described as the variety that helps keep a guitar neck cool.

I play with a guitarist friend of mine who has one exactly like it, and it won't stay in tune at all. One song and it's totally gonzo. I have asked him to have it professionally set up, but he insists on tweaking it himself, to no avail. I really don't care for the red-on-black look, to be honest. If the guitar was mine, I'd swap out all the black hardware for chrome.

I just happen to have a set of chrome parts lying around for when I want to switch to chrome. RIGHT!
Got to start with one make it a 360/12.

Ha ha. You're a regular riot. I never said I had parts lying around. I'd buy them.

If anyone is looking for a 330 6-string in that same finish/trim, there's one in a small shop in Gravenhurst Ontario. Asking price is probably a bit high at $1600 Canadian, but you may be able to talk them down a bit. Here's their e-mail: acmc_64@hotmail.com

This is the same type of guitar pictured in Play Guitar magazine that I posted back in April:

Other than six versus 12 strings of course.

I'm not a big fan of red guitars, but I've got to say that blood red with black trim is striking.
