I've been wanting an S model RIC for years . Just sold an 87 Suzuki GSXR1100 then saw the post for a V63 on this forum . Flew to ebay and snagged it . Paid a bit too much but I dont care . Cant wait till she gets here ! Oh Fireglo !!!

You can get one from Pickguardian; the pickguard on mine is also made by Tony to be more authentic like the C64 basses.

Jeff . I guess your pickguard fits tighter to the bridge pickup . Is that the difference ?

Yes. It also curves around the corner instead of being a sharp 90 degree corner. Looks more like Macca's does and like the b&w pic of the '63 4001 in the Smith book.
