My TR35 B amp blew up.. )-:

Post by bob_atherton »

After owning my new to me TR35 B combo amp for only about six weeks it sort of blew up last night. It started to distort intermittently for a couple of days then last night it developed this distortion again and then went THUD followed by a constant hum from the amp without the bass playing through it... not good.

Anyway, my friendly electrical fixing chappy is happy to fix it so long as he has a circuit diagram to work from. Is there anyone out there that might have access to a diagram of the TR35 B? When it works it is such a great amp that I would like to raise this Phoenix from the ashes.

I just mailed you a copy. Or you can get it from the website tomorrow, when it's back up.

John, thanks very much for that! The combo is so very good I often wonder why you are not still making them?

Jeff, thanks for that link as well.

I use my TR35B all the time....it is amazingly versatile. The only bad thing is it will cut out once in a while...just fade out....if I unplug it for a few minutes and plug it back in, it is fine....it's only after being played for a long while that it does it...but I love the great tone that comes from it.
