I'll start the bidding for the 1958 Precision Bass at $1.00, after all, the description does say it is used! Image

Is it the case that those guitars have been barely played in a smoke-free studio, however the owners just really haven't been playing them much lately?

If so, maybe I'd be interested.

Mark, conservatively the guitars are in excellent plus condition -- really some of the nicest conditioned examples of these that exist. The catalog will be very descriptive along with several photos of each. I have played all of them and do not remember them stinking of smoke. The consignor is a collector so I doubt they've been gigged or even played much.

I'm kidding--they are light years out of my league. Just riffing on the typical craigslist descriptions...

Actually I was hoping they were relics, the real things just don't do anything for me.
And Mike let me know when you decide about my more than generous offer.
