Just dropping in, haven't been around here in a while.

Glad to see this thread on OHWs. The thing about one-hit-wonders is a lot of people seem to dismiss them, but. . .

every one of them have had more hits than I have!

Dane, bring it! But give us a heads-up as we haven't played "Me and my Monkey" in a while.

John, your thanks have been delivered. Dave retired from the band last year but he and I are working on an original recording as we..type.

Great, Ronn! Thanks.

Lighthouse - Ralph Cole had a Kalamazoo connection but I can't for the life of me remember what it was and why I remember his name.

I loved that song Mitch, but not this particular version! I recall a female lead vocalist on the 45 i had "way back then". Anybody know who that was? No,... WAY back before Bananarama!!!

I emailed my old keyboard player and he reminded me he used to date his sister. He went to Toronto with her to visit Ralph and the band, and spent the evening playing eucher and poker till 5AM. He remembers them as a nice group of guys. Ralph's now ex-wife was also from Portage (city abuts Kalamazoo) as was Ralph, and was a gracious hostess.
