I really miss George being around. I just put Cloud Nine in the car today. As the years go by George becomes more and more important to me as a musical force. I love his stuff more all the time. Plus, he seemed like one of the most decent human beings. What a guy. Listening to Devil's Radio this morning - perfect voice, great rock song, good guitars, clever lyrics....ah George.
Just make the time to play guitar!

Jon, that's really bizarre, I ripped my vinyl copy of Cloud Nine last night so I could listen to it on my iPod today while I was working. I've been on a really big solo Beatles kick lately, and although I'd always been aware of George's music and knew that it was good, some of it great and even better than great, I didn't realize how important and complex it all was. Despite disowning the production values on All Things Must Pass, I think it's a really fantastic album. He was just taken from us too soon. I think George was the most under-rated of all the Beatles. I realize Ringo gets that title a lot, but to me George isn't respected as he should be. I can't believe how amazing the Wonderwall album sounds. I wasn't around when it was first released, but it sounds amazing and fresh even today. It's one of my favorites.
Thanks!
