Hi again Mark ,
I'm the guy who keeps bugging you about 325s This time my question is , I have a 310 that was savaged by some one and I'm in the process of buying parts for it.
How can I tell if my pick-ups are vintage or reissue? They are louder then they should be so I know thy are ether rewound or reissue. Thanks!!

You could measure the dc resistance of the winding. If it's in the order of 8K ohm then it could be vintage. If it's closer to 11K ohm then it's likely vintage re-issue.
Check the corner screws. If they are small flat blade type roundheads that's a vintage indication. Philips head are more modern types.
