I'm surprise no one has pounced on this one by now. If I wasn't buying something else right now I'd bid on it. Buying from Canada is scary sometimes.

that's a 4004L ... it would make a nice 5 string conversion ... it would look cool with black trim ...

Yeah-

Now if RIC would put a bidseye maple board on that "fictional" 4004Cii/5.

Luv that maple!

Thats the thing that scares me off is that it is in Canada. If it were in T.O. or closer to Detroit, it would be faster to go there and get it than it would be to have it shipped!

The seller won't accept paypal ... that means international money order ... not a domestic check ... you have to send the check fed ex ... usps and ups to canada cost more and are less reliable ...

I'd only buy from Canada sellers if I can pick it up. Just a little less costly and risky.

Does that look like a solid or transparent finish?

solid ... this model and this year has to be a solid finish ... the jpeg is distorting and giving the appearance of woodgrain ....

it will look more like this one ...

You must really like mine then, Jeff! I bet that this would make a great 8-string... :-)

It's a maple fingerboard. Gives the bass a little character. It's a shame that the Laredo dosen't have maple fingerboards any more. I bet a Laredo w/ a maple fingerboard and in Montezuma Brown would look absolutely fantastic.
