Replaced BFTP13

Post by royclough »

OK this one should be ok and may prove to be one of the hardest.

The act(could be group, solo etc) very popular on both sides of Atlantic.

Had hits in 50's 60's and 70's

Sorry to say that, Roy, but in this one, the act's name is also seen...

My guess is in as well, Roy. I guess I slept through the bloopers.

Mine's in too. I would have had no idea on the first one either, that would have been a hard one.

Zero for me, Roy. Acts with chart popularity back in the 50's is not my stronghood.
Quite liked the performance, though!
PS Wouldn't have fared well with Mike Smith, either!
Searchers amongst my teenage favourite music. Still fond of them, but earnestly a little puzzled they are considered THIS big! But I'm very excited about this forum, and will love to read it regularly, and also contribute!

Bob: As in the case of the first one, sometimes we can just try too hard.

Peter, I never would have thought of Mike Smith no matter what (I don't think), it didn't sound like him to me, sometimes these performers sing these covers too much like the original versions and that throws me.
