Here's an outtake from shooting at Twickenham. A small piece of this ended up in the Let It Be film. It's 15 megs due 192kbps encoding (done to minimize warble and distortion in the sound).

Check it out

I'll post the outtake of George leaving the band later today.

PLEASE NOTE: Some of these outtakes contain some colourful language. Listener's discretion!

Aha, here it is.

This is from the January 10, 1969 "session" at Twickenham. This effectively ended the sessions (and The Beatles!!). George's footsteps can be heard as he is presumably followed on his way out of the studio by a mic-bearer.

Of course, George returned the following week with Billy Preston in tow. The Beatles were known for behaving more profssionally when another respected musician joined up with them, case in point when Eric joined to play on WMGGW. The remainder of the sessions ran considerably more smoothly, for lots of reasons. This can be attributed in no small part to the move to the Apple basement as they all hated Twickenham (which was basically just a soundstage; it was cold and sounded like **** anyway).

Here's George quitting the band

I know this is not a widely shared but Get Back is and has been one of my favorite recordings, I love the live feel to it. Also I think a lot of the songs were great like for example I got a feeling.
I just realized why the links don't work, they are about a month and a half old.
