Fake Ric-O-Sound on ebay
now they're replicating the box w/ mis-leading references to the real thing...i wouldn't think this would be okay with Ric.

The box he is using is commonly available from electronics parts suppliers, as are all the hard components inside. The only thing he had to come up with was a silkscreen for the cover...
The listing is deceptive.

Hey Bryce,
I paid $99.99 on a BIN at the end of July.
I was just going to flip it but the SPARE cable it came with didn't work.
If you want it, just give me what I paid and it's yours.

I kept waiting to list mine in hopes this guy was going to run out of his stock!
Like I said, I assumed he just bought a whole bunch from RIC and was cashing in! It looked so original, I just never looked closer!
By the way, the listing has been REMOVED as well as the closed auctions! Go get 'em JH.

Some people have a lot of nerve.
For my splitter, I used a mic cable with quad-star wiring and put a stereo plug on one end, then took a regular cable and cut it in half. I then soldered all shields together, the tip of the stereo to one center of the cut cable and the ring of the stereo to the center of the other cut cable. I then took a flip top plastic electronics EEPROM carrier I had, cut 3 holes in the side, laid the cables inside through the half holes, hot glued the **** out of it all, and snapped the box shut. Works great, no noise as the plastic is conductive for static protection of the EEPROMS.

Just this week I had a Rick-O-Sound jack harness built directly into my stereo pedal board. I had originally had it wired with left and right input jacks, but being able to just plug my stereo cable into a Rick-O-Sound jack without using the "Y' cable is so much cleaner. With the "standard" mono jack I can plug in any mono instruments I might have and the same signal is sent to both effects processors and then both channels of my Ampeg SVP1600.
