Kantner's Guitars on Stage

Post by firstbassman »

Since we were recently discussing Paul's 360/12's (stripes, no stripes, etc.) here is a nice shot (at Sausalito) of Paul's concert gear.

PS: I have the same exact "suitcase rack." It's very handy.

The guitars go without saying.

I don't have as many as Paul, but I have three.

And one with Paul's (and Roger's) signature:

I have the exact same case, and +1 on the Ricks, though mine aren't all the same: four sixes and one twelve.

PK probably has more than four Ricks though.
There is no reason to ever be bored.

...why yes, I suppose I do have a double bound guitar fetish...

"Uh, I like the double bounds. . . ."

Sorry Paul, didn't mean to imply that mine were all the same either.

Here they are:

Yes, I feel pretty confident that PK owns more than four Ricks. Just keeps four on stage though. At least one is kept in Drop-D tuning, a couple in standard tuning and I'm not sure about the other.
