1967 4001sFG

Post by seyesbass »

Guys theres a 1967 4001s FG at New Kings Road Guitar Emporium in London.
They say its a late Rose morris import but I think it falls short in some of its detail from the heyday mid 60s RMs.
Its on the Bay and check the starting bid...£11,000!!!!!!!
Nice maple body scratchplate a bit ragged and not a very distinct headstock sandwich.H/s surround is the small later type.
All in all not the Grail of mid 60s RMs in my opinion and maybe I am somewhat harsh on the bass but the details count when this kind of cash is demanded.I am sure it will sell nevertheless.
