He thinks it's pretty cool.He wants to go to Hot Topic to buy a Velvet Underground or Ramones LP.

Your son has good taste. That photo was very ... modern ... in its time.

Hey, let me know if you want the 411 on that green bass, Mitch. Cheers.

Yeah, but, jeez, Bob...wouldn't that just have caused trouble with your parents?

A classic photo of trouble with your parents...in my long ago experience.

Hey Mitch, I've described it on the "Emeraldglo" thread in For Sale and in the Appraisals thread on my 72 Burgundyglo. But in a nutshell, he lowered the price now to $1300. It has great tone and a nice neck. The fret job resulted in lots of chips in the fretboard...probably someone's first fret job? I was really looking forward to falling in love with it, but I didn't. The green refin seemed well done, but I wanted more depth to the color...it struck me as sort of murky compared to the stain of my Burgundy. Worth checking out, for sure, and the price is going in the right direction.

Mitch, Tell him to check out Raw Power, Iggy and The Stooges, or Funhouse, The Stooges, start him out with the best, IMHO of course.

Yeah, I got the new album, like the old stuff better though. It's taking time for the new one to grow on me, the mix is terrible, can't hear the bass nor the vocals and James Williamson is definitely missed although he was only on Raw Power and many bootlegs.

Doesn't really compare with the old stuff...but his voice still sounds good. I'm also a big fan of The Idiot and Lust For Life. HOW does a guy like that look so fit, given his history??

Mitch, also it has no mute assembly...no pad and no screws.

I don't know, must spend a lot of time in the gym, running etc. I know what you mean though. That's why I don't know why he voice was mixed so low on the new Stooges album. He can still sing. I saw them in 1969 at The Boston Tea Party. The audience hated them, were stunned I think. I thought they were great.

Cool, you can teach him the Foxtrot and the Charleston

I'd give my son this but he said he likes the Doors better than Enrico Caruso.

When I was a little kid, the teenager next door was Colin Caruso, grandson of the singer.
