The Aquabats "Super rad"

This must be the funniest music video with a Rick bass in it.

I'd have to agree. Love the prat falls. I checked out 'Fashion Zombies' and 'Pool Party,' too. Thanks for the link. I was never hip to the Aquabats before. This may be my new favorite band. Just what the Dr ordered as I sit here crippled by food poisoning. I have to be careful how hard I laugh.

Oh man I love The Aquabats! Chad "Crash" McLarson used rick basses on there first two albums, third album he used a Music Man, and the last two he used P basses. Also Travis Barker was played drums on their first two albums before he left before joining Blink-182. The Aquabats have a very good live show, every person in the band wears those outfits and during the middle of the performance the lead singer, the Bat Commander, will "rumble/ fight" a super villain. Great band. They were may favorite band all through out middle school. When I got into high school I got into classic rock and then into prog. I played bass since 7th grade; Crash McLarson Made me want to buy a rickenbacker and Chris Squire made me buy a rickenbacker. Wouter, thank you for starting this discussion not alot of people know about The Aquabats, for obvious reasons Image. I would suggest to someone who would like listen to their best work check out Return of The Aquabats and Fury of The Aquabats. Their early stuff is really surfy but then they got really poppy, which isn't a bad thing I just don't like it as much. I'm actually scared to buy their new cd because I heard there are on horns in it just synths! ahhhhhh. Thanks again Wouter.

I watched the Aquabats on Yo Gabba Gabba doing Pool Party and for all the fun and being aimed at young kids, I kept thinking "Raffi on acid". They look older in that video and it's like dad's gone wild. Fun stuff.
