Mexican Coca Cola:I'ts The Real Thing!

Post by octagon »

Tonite I had a bottle of Coca Cola from Mexico and it was Awesome!Well you remember that whole "New Coke" scam in the 80's when they introduced a new formula supposedly to compete with Pepsi and when people got upset the scrapped it and brought back "Coke Classic".Well the real scam and the reason for the "New Coke" formula was so that they could replace the sugar in the original coke formula with much cheaper High Fructose Corn Syrup. When the reintroduced "Coke Classic" it cointained HFCS but most people didn't notice. Now adays they only way to get a real Coke in the USA is to buy an import from Mexico that lists Sugar and not HFCS in the ingredience. Also Coke that is Kosher for Passover cointains Sugar instead of HFCS.Try it,you'll like it.

I love the Coke from Mexico. Wish I knew where to get it wholesale.

You just need a Friend in Brownsville TX....

Even cheaper would be to find a local bottler who does Kosher bottling runs, and pre-order their minimum case quantity for the next run. Same formulation, I understand from Mitch above.

The kosher for Passover Coke has sugar. The Mexican Coke is made with sugar cane.

I found i on Ebay for $36 FOR 24 ct case of 12 oz bottles. The issue is shipping.

Brasilian is really good, but you have to practically sterilize the cans, due to rats that **** in the warehouses where it's stored.

Sorry, did that put you off your Coke?

No way. All that phosphoric acid dissolves even whole rats, after just a few days. Rat ****? Never know they were ever there after a few hours even. Just adds flavor and character.

Kinda like the acid in wines from California dissolves the bugs and mold so that you never know they were ever there either ...... just tastes like hints of orange and leather, oak and apples after the bugs dissolve, right? Image

Mexican Nescafe is the best instant coffee, IMHO.

Friends have told me that Coke and 7-Up from Mexico taste much better. I want to try it.

If everyone crossing the border in a northerly direction would bring a few cases, we'd have plenty. Image
