Does anybody know what Rickenbacker is going to do for 2008? New options, clothing, accessories, etc.
Thanks

Still hacking away at the backlog, I think.

Depending on how well that goes, there probably won't be any new features/parts/ colors until that's beaten back to a reasonable level.

Look out for 2009, though (here's hoping)!

Yep, I doubt we'll see anything significant in 2008. I'm hoping for something like the horseshoe pickups being available again.

I think Rickenbacker will introduce a new color called Jetglo!

John Hall mentioned that we might see the vintage keywinds available in the boutique. Maybe that'll happen next year.

I think the most unexpected thing ever would be switching the positions of toasters and hi-gains...

make the hi-gains an upcharge! hahaha...

That or horse-shoes on 6 string guitars!

I think 2008 will be the same as 2007.

John Hall told me that he fully expects to have the reissue F series Rics in players' hands by mid summer.
345F in Autumnglo here I come.

And then I woke up.

It was just a dream.

It wouldn't surprise me if they reduce the models offered. How long does it take to get a 4004 these days? They haven't done a large run since last summer when all the MBs were finished off. I'm sure there are similar models (370s and 381s maybe?). These could go the way of the left handed or VP option and be put on temporary hiatus until the backlog is reduced enough to allow delivering these models within a year of ordering. Just a thought, anyway.

Maybe we'll all get lucky and they'll get about ten more CNC machines, and a means of cloning the skilled woodworking staff ten times over as well. This would not only eliminate the backlog but bring about the reintroduction of all of the much missed out of production models that we're always missing out loud on this forum!

I know, I know; stop dreaming, right?
