Anybody here bid on this one?

I really like the green. Green was my second 4004 choice next to blueburst. I guess these are collectible before they're made. Wow.

That gold on green is nice. The price - $2249.... it is a little high but I suppose it is a brand-new (used and now unwarrrantied for the buyer) bass with all case candy.

I would hop on it at maybe $1700, but I may sit it out at $2250 or more.

Price to high???? Depends on your point of view. You can save a few bucks if your willing to wait 3 years for delivery,,,or you can have it now if your willing to pay a little more.

This one is a used one - it will not come with a RIC warranty. But, it is reputed to be very little-used, so that is something.

It is definitely one that a Cheyenne aficionado should consider seriously.

Hey Elys, I hope your estimate of my 73 BG is correct, it's Ebay bound in just a little bit.

Hi all, This is my first post on this forum and it's great to share in the wealth of knowledge available here.

Just to let you know this bass is on its way to Australia to join my '07 4003 Jetglo and '04 4004 Laredo Blueboy. While it was a lttle more than I would have liked to pay it was also too good an opportunity to let go. I had the option of paying slightly less than I would buying through Ric Japan and then waiting, how long? 2 years maybe for a new mint unit out of the factory. How much pleasure can I derive from my 4004TG over 2 years? Priceless! My understanding is that the bass I bought is unused, so as good as new. Like I said, too good an opportunity to pass by.

What's the old saying, " a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush". :D

Once again, great to be in this forum.

Best wishes to all.

If I would have gotten the price you got, Tony, I might have taken one also. But when I was given the quote, My thought was, (to put it nicely) the seller can keep it! :x

The price of Ricks have increased significantly in the last two years. Most non MF or SA stores seem to be getting much closer to MSRP. Sam Ash is getting close 90% MSRP. I wish I had bought more earlier!

Congrats on the TG! I'm sure it'll treat you right. I just hope I can play my BBR soon :)
