Okay lets' go really crazy here, a triple neck 4003 Shadow with a fretless 5 string neck, a fretted 5 string neck and an 8 string neck, or maybe a 10 string neck !! Yeah, that's it !!!
John Hall must be laughing his *** off reading these posts.

I'd love a 10 string if the neck could stand the tension. I don't think it would be possible in keeping with the typical Ric neck profile without at least adding some composite reinforcement, and then I'm afraid it would lose the Ric sound. A doubleneck 4/8 would be way cool, but really heavy.

A Ric custom shop would be nice.

Yes it would.
Actually a 10 string Rick would be the ultimate bass for me buddy.

How about a triple neck 15 and 8 and fretless 5 with active electronics a hollow body with the light show plastic front and checkered binding ...

OK I'm kidding ...

Of all those things, you're probably least likely to get active electronics. But Ricks don't need them anyway.

I don't think Mr. Hall is the only one that thinks that. But seriously I did like Jeff's idea, but add two horseshoes on each.
