Tonight is the opener for my Rangers at MSG, and of course, i'll be there!

I've got big expectations for this season, as do many Ranger fans - with the addition of Scott Gomez and Chris Drury, it's hard to imagine anything less than what we did last season (took the best team in hockey to six games in round 2, and was 7 seconds away from having a 3-2 series lead at one point!)

Team put up for sale in the off season, one suitor sent packing, another now falling apart, gutted the team of many stars, falling attendance even while spending most of the last half of the season atop the division, and a local paper that prints none of the positives.

Looks like a good season ahead!

Go Wings! It would be nice to see a schedule loaded with a number of games of the original six playing each other but my guess is it won't happen this year.

While not a NHL team, I've got to root for the Houston Aeros. The games are great and the tickets are cheap.
