Well, since i'm a Image, i've simply created a photobucket album & copied my collection of smileys there (16 pages, heh-heh). Now i insert them as images, just that simple. Image

Hmm, I was hoping to not have to go "offshore", so to speak. If something should happen to an "offshore" site all the images will get removed from the forum. Our loss really. It would be better if we could just have them imbedded in our posts so they will be there for good.

I can put the icons on the server, I do plan on enabling icons embedding (from an easy to use list to save the linking work).
But for now - the only way is to add a link.
So long and thanks for all the fish!

So what is not reliable about your own (offshore?) domestic US site http://www.jeffreypscott.com/? :P

Jeffrey: Presumably you have noted by now that you can imbed images in your posts.

Mmmm. Looks like i cannot figure it out...
So, how's embedding done to make it look as if it was there all the time & without names & dimensions, other than using external sources? Image

I can make the attachments thumbnail-less if you want, but that means I'll have to restrict the image size even further to avoid page deformations due to too large images, I am running at 1920x1200 so you can't really "kill" my display, but most people are running at 1024x768 or a bit higher.

It took me a couple of weeks to sort out the new forum, big thanks to Peter Levett there, I normally hate change in anything, but I think the new look might just be better...!
