He should have listened to kids originally, no question.
It was hardly a secret what she was before she met him...

McCartney and Mills back in court over divorce
LONDON (Reuters) - Former Beatle Paul McCartney and his estranged wife Heather Mills will take their acrimonious divorce battle to open court next February, a court source said on Friday, after attempts to reach a private settlement failed.
The source said a five-day hearing had been scheduled with a fall-back date later in 2008 if the February hearing failed to produce an agreement.
British media have speculated that McCartney could have to part with between 20 and 70 million pounds of his 825 million pound fortune in a final settlement, including a one-off lump sum plus annual payments.
The Evening Standard newspaper reported on Friday that the stumbling block during Thursday's lengthy meeting had been Mills' refusal to accept a gagging order as part of the deal.
Her spokesman declined to comment, and no one was immediately available to comment from the McCartney camp.
The settlement could set a new record for a contested divorce award in British courts. In August last year, insurance magnate John Charman was ordered to pay out 48 million pounds to his wife after they divorced in 2003 after 27 years of marriage.
McCartney, 65, married Mills in 2002. They have a daughter, Beatrice, who turns four later this month.
The split has been played out in the full glare of the tabloid media.
Mills works for several charities, including those involved in banning landmines and preventing cruelty to animals.

Too bad there wasn't a settlement. It will get worse before it gets better. I was wondering why it was dragging out so long.

Re: McCartney v. McCartney, Can't Get Much Worse?
She was on UK TV this morning and broke down, tired as being portrayed in the media as a whore, a money grubber, and treated as bad as a pedofile or murderer. She has had thoughts of suicide. She says there have been no discussions of alimony. The paparazzi has made her a prisoner in her house and chase her everywhere ala Britney ----- she was pretty convincing.

She has even managed to hit Yahoo news about how the media is making her kill herself. Still the poor inocent girl who is now trapped by the fame of and ex Beatle when she didn't even know what a Beatle was.
Re: McCartney v. McCartney, Can't Get Much Worse?
The gloves have really come off now, at least on Mill's side (Stella wants the jewels, etc.). I have a feeling Stella and Mills would try to kill each other if put in a room together. I posted something earlier on re: a comment by Mill's ex-husband. That guy *could* be making stuff up, my gut feeling is that Mills has been bad news since she was a little girl.
It's going to get much worse I'm afraid (to play on the title of the thread).
Yep, the link is still active:

Give her the money, Paul. Then ignore everything she says from now on. She has only foot left to shoot herself in.

Good point Dan,..."she didn't even know what a Beatle was"....... wasn't that Yoko's line way back in the 60's when she met John,(after failing to snag some of the other beatles?
I have never met anyone who Doesn't know who the Beatles were!!!! What a Crock!

Despite what is called "women's solidarity", i simply cannot sympathise with miss Mills. I do feel sorry for her young daughter, though... hope she'll be fine.
Nothing will get you dead quicker than being deadly serious about yourself.
Re: McCartney v. McCartney, Can't Get Much Worse?
She started crying and freaking out on some British TV show last week, yelling at the interviewer that she wasn't a golddigger and that people should leave her alone, etc. I hope they settle out of court, she gets her tidy sum of money, and she disappears into history.
Re: McCartney v. McCartney, Can't Get Much Worse?
One of Heather's two mommies never told her that Nice Is As Nice Does.... although I do think she has a point about the papparazzi and the tabloids. They are out of control and can make anybody's like a living hell. They can do it to the nice people as well as the bitchy one-legged gold diggers.
Heather demands Paul tells the world she's nice as part of divorce settlement
Heather Mills is demanding that Sir Paul McCartney tells the world she is 'not a fantasist or a golddigger' as part of their divorce settlement.
Ms Mills also begged the former Beatle to let her move back to his Peasmarsh estate in East Sussex for the sake of her 'security'.
She repeated her demands that Sir Paul dip into his multimillion-pound fortune to pay for a security team to protect her and their four-year-old daughter Beatrice.
A close friend of the disabled former model said: 'Heather thinks that if only Paul would tell everyone she is a nice person, that she's not a fantasist or a gold-digger, then all his fans are going to stop hating her.
