Wow! Great video, Mitch! Was that a blue 325 Ric the other guitar player was using? Looks like Ron had a weak 60s moment and painted his telecaster checkerboard. Never have heard any music from them before. Certainly a harder rock sound than I anticipated. The announcer says at the end "...and we wish them good luck on their American Tour." I never knew they toured the US....did they?

They were an offshoot of The Creation, right? Or was it the other way around?

That Ronnie Wood certainly got around. Then it was off to the Jeff Beck Group, on to The Faces, and now with, um, oh man what is the name of that other group he's with now... something like Rolling Rock, or something...

It's mentioned in The Bee Gees book, that most of their instruments were originally from the Birds. Dick Ashby was The Birds road manager and had lent them the $$$ for their gear.

When they folded he was out of pocket. On getting the Bee Gees gig, he took all "his" equipment and sold it into the deal.

Evidence, to me, that some things from the 60s (though maybe not many) are best forgotten.
Sorry.

That looked like a blue 610 or 615.

John, is there a particular shade for that blue it would have been called then?

If it's from '68 then it could be Azureglo, anything earlier is either a one-off or a refin.
