Thanks John,Its a standard guitar, not a baritone. It's got a builtin fuzz and a coil splitter. It was priced at $349 with free shipping so I figured what the heck.
There is an even cooler looking one one ebay right now and I bet it will sell for around $300/$350. Here is a photo and the link.Someone here should jump on it.I would if I hadn't just bought another guitar this week.
Love those old Matsumoku made guitars, they are such incredible value for money. The pickups for example are licensed copies of Dimarzio pickups. And every brand that Matsumoku made had them.
I once saw a cool double neck Hondo longhorn bass it had an eight string neck on top and a four string neck at the bottom. And speaking of Double neck longhorns, here's the longest running band in history The Golden Earring and their bassplayer has a crazy double neck Longhorn, it has a Fender long scale neck on top and a Dano short scale neck at the bottom.
There's a Korean made one on Aussie ebay at the moment:
Currently $490 with no bids. Are the Korean ones OK?..... I'm sorta tempted just for the novelty factor. Guess it would be a bit tough finding a suitable case for it!
Hi Howard.I heard that the new Danos are pretty good. The Long Horn would fit in the Dano Tweed case they made a couple of years ago(when they made the Longhorns. That Hondo II I posted(ebay link) above is really nice with the coil splitter in and out of phase setting and built in preamp you get alot more and it comes with a case.Maybe he would ship it to Oz if you asked.
