He also said the Beatles were bigger than Jesus, so it's best not to quote him out of context here either.

context: imagine there's no countries, it isn't hard to do...
imagine no posessions, i wonder if you can
no need for greed or hunger, a brotherhood of man
imagine all the people, sharing all the world

weve had it good for a long time. lets spread it around. if they want to build amps, let them build amps. if were really really nice to them, maybe theyll throw us a bone when were a third world country. no empire rules forever.... i hope.

Unless you're willing and able to live on $3.00 a day, I'd give the altruistic schtick a rest. It is not "one world" but at the rate the living standard of the middle class here is falling it might be one day. Until then, I'm going to do my dead leval best to slow that long slide into oblivion.

aceonbass wrote:Craig, I can practically guarantee you'll get some $$ off if you go to the store well armed. Take pic of a 4003 and a V63 along with a copy of a quote for a new 4003FG from Musician's friend. GC has a 30 day return policy so I think they will see you as meaning business and give you back some green.

went in and talked to the gc guys today. they are going to give me some dough back. i have to take the bass in tomorrow so the main manager can sign off on it, but they are being really cool about it. surprisingly. i paid $1500. how much should i ask for in return?

$300.00-$400.00. The manager will know what they have in it. If they took it in as a V63, then there will be less wiggle room. They probably don't have more than $700.00 in it.
