Just bought another NOS 4004 for my collection.....

Just bought another NOS 4004 for my collection, this time a Cheyenne from Italy to go with the NOS Laredo I bought from Germany in July. Bizaarely they are both from 1993, the Cheyenne from March and the Laredo from June! Looking forward to hearing the differences in sound between the two. All I need to buy now is a Marshall VBA 400 and 4x12 which is next on my shopping list!

I really love my Laredo (2004), always had a yen for the Ci - I have a 650 Dakota, seems like they would be a nice match. Good luck and let us know what you think of the tone difference between this one and the 93 Laredo.

Very nice walnut on that one, Warren. Congrats on finding NOS from 14 years ago! My 4004C is from 4/1995 and is a really nice bass. Do let us know your impressions.

I wish I knew! Spent more than ten years looking for and early Laredo and Cheyenne and missing out many times. Finally found my first one in July the nos '93 Laredo then the '93 Cheyenne this week, talk about waiting for your bus and two coming along at the sametime! Now where is a '93 Laredo in fireglo and a 2060 in fireglo, I think they'll be harder to find!

Yeah, 4004L and 2060 in Fireglo are hard to find. I had the 2060 for about a year, and sold it to Erik Kutzler. Still have the 4004L and don't want to give it up right now. But enjoy!
