A client of mine wanted to "Sullivan Spec" his factory stock C58 Jetglow. Going the extra mile, beyond the standard upgrades (i.e. B-5, Bowtie, Burn's Knobs, Pyramids) I suggested tinting the fretboard to a more correct "orange" look, and shooting it in Nitro. It involved first bleaching the dark rosewood in a mixture of peroxide/water, tinting the fretboard in an orange rub, shooting in amber clear Nitro (3 coats) and wiping the frets clean, then buffing. It turned out very nice:
