Looks like the bridge PU surround is mounted in reverse with the wider flat panel towards the neck. The missing PU switch may be the result of a revised control layout with a new pickguard. The rest of it looks legit as far as I can tell from the small photo.

The bass pickup looks a little funny though, like it has square pole pieces instead of round ones. And the body shape also is a little odd, the upper cutaway where your arm rests seems too deep.
And the other one with the Ibinez case has a different pick guard and the neck looks unvarnished and the cover looks like it was mounted wrong. the only close up photo of the front looks so bad it could have been one of my my photos, it makes the bass look like an 8 string. Hard to call, the case could be a clue though huh?

You gotta give that Schafer company credit, though; stereo INPUTS on a bass is a unique concept.

Haha! Yeah. The Schafer company couldn't even get the treble pickup placement right. Gross!

Yeah Owen, I have a beat 96 4003 JG and it's the best sounding and playing bass that I have, that finish is beautiful. I don't like black and blue basses but that one is nice, what is that an S?
