BFTP20

Post by royclough »

A nice easy one this week to try and encourage more participation, my thanks to the stalwarts who continue to support this bit of fun.

This is from a relatively new album but artist is very much associated with 60's, had numerous hits on both sides of Atlantic as a member of a group in 60's, solo success followed in 70's.

This could be classed as some sort of comeback album.

I'll nail my colours to the mast here and say you can't beat Bobby Vee's version for me but this is done very differently.

Thanks Roy. My guess is in!
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

From the clues in your introduction, I thought it was going to be McCartney ! As it is (or isn't), I don't have any idea, for now... I'll listen some more, and see if inspiration strikes!

Agreed. My vote is on it's way too.

Easy, huh. Of course, for many of you it's easy, but i don't even have a single guess.

The voice sounds familiar, but I don't know...
I'll give it another try! :)

Well done to all of you, nearly everyone who identified Frankie Valli doing BFTP 20

Out of reach! I never listened to Four Seasons. Tried to use your small "leads", but could not make this voice fit with e.g. Scott Engel!
