Nice but when the production model comes out what makes it worth twice what an AV costs?

Don't care, must have one!

Time to start working on the wife. At least she's as big an EC fan as I am. :P

Yeah, not too impressed. I love Jazzmasters, but that is salty. I'd rather have an AVRI. If I had thousands of dollars to burn I would consider, but that's not happening anytime soon.

Knowing Elvis, he will re-re-reissue the guitar again in a few short years. Only this time with a never-seen-before knob.

I like AVRI Jazzmasters, but I don't like brown, or whatever color that is(I often wonder how I ended up with a Walnut Finish Tennnessean-Beatles effect?-anyone want to trade for a red one?). It just seems a shame to finish such a pretty shape with that dull, boring, dirty B-R-O-W-N. I like the pretty custom color Fenders; Sonic Blue, Surf Green, Fiesta Red, Candy Apple Red, Vintage or Olympic White, Shoreline Gold, Lake Placid Blue, or that Dick Dale Sparkle. Even natural or Fender Blonde would be okay with me, but BROWN, yuck! That finish reminds me of really bad, ugly `70s era furniture.
