Reminds me of an Eddie Murphy SNL bit. He was hawking a book titled, "How to be a Ho".

The Santas should all get together and tell the P.C. crowd to leave them alone or else they'll say something REALLYoffensive!

Who thinks such nonsense up?! They should just go play in the traffic.

Now I'm going to say "ho ho ho" twice as often, if not more!

Political correctness gone mad, Mike! There was an internet poll by one of the dailys here yesterday and would you believe over 75% agreed that 'Ho ho ho' was offensive....... bloody ridiculous!!

What's even more amazing is that the term 'ho' is very rarely used over here. We use much more traditional words!

I tell you..... I'm just about to pack up my goods and chattels and disappear into the outback. I'm sick and tired of all the political correctness and social engineering ****!! :x

I thought California was nuts(and it is), but Australia wins the prize on this one. You've got to fight back! If you disappear into the outback, the PC crowd will just follow you there and find something else to cry about.

Here's how interested Australians can fight back: Call Westaff Recruitment agency at 1 800 80 60 50 and tell them to get off Santa's back or they'll all get lumps of coal for Christmas. I was going to email them withthe same message, but I couldn't find a contact email addie.

Good solution: move to Russia. There's no P.C. rage here (i am not talking personal computers this time, of course) and the climate is much more diverse. :P
Seriously, though, i am sorry it's happening over there. Paul is right. Perhaps you have to fight, and i'd like to hope you'll win in the end. Cause that becomes ridiculous, imho.

+1

Here's a money-making thought for ya Aitch - print up a whole bunch of red tee shirts with white lettering - Ho Ho Ho! and sell them to anyone and everyone with sense.

Nice idea, John, but I'd probably end up in jail after being dobbed in by some feminist lunatic who thinks that the only cases in the world are womens' ones...... and there are plenty of those here, believe me!

Maybe I'll just wear my '*******' t-shirts around the place and see what they have to say about that! :D

We have a federal election coming up Saturday week and there are enough lunatic fanatics coming out of the woodwork as it is. This just adds to the frustration.

I could go on a Christmas PC rant..... kids not allowed to sing Christmas Carols in school because it might offend non-Christians, trees and decorations not permitted........ but I won't. Why is it that we are virtually forced to respect the customs and rites of others yet we have to shut ours down in case they offend?

Geez... i thought this disease hasn't yet reached Australian shores... a while ago, one of the popular news in Russian-speaking web community was that of the official proclamation or something by Australians which said something like, "those of you who want to live in our country should respect our traditions; you have your own traditions and we respect them but don't force them on us" (like, "when in Rome, do as Romans do"), and we all were so glad for Australians cause it seemed logical and fair, and now it seems like in fact, it's quite the opposite?!
(and don't get me started about feminism and "femlingo"...)

Sheena, that was a speech given by Australian PM John Howard, and I completely agree with him!
