I don't get it...is there something unusual about this drummer?
No matter where you go, no matter what you do, there you are.

Is that Phil Collins' new look? The cosmetic surgeon must have gotten a little carried away with the hair replacement surgery.

Other than that, it's very typical modern drumming behavior/behaviour; my group once threatened to switch out a drummer's regualr sticks for chopsticks to tame down the volume.

Can't see the video, but the news article made me think of a couple of past drummers: one fell off his stool a couple of times on stage because he was so drunk. The final straw came when he did not show up to rehearsal before a very important gig because he had spent the weekend in the drunk tank after being found asleep behind the wheel of his car at a stop sign with the engine running. The other played an intro to a song that we had never heard before and then berated the band afterwards for not coming in on cue. This was his second gig with us, the third was his last as it became obvious that he had anger management (and possibly substance abuse) issues.

Ah, the good old days.
:D
