It's different alright mainly because it's rubbish.

It's a very bad cover of Neil Young's version and although I like a lot of his stuff, his covers aren't always the greatest either. So this is a bad cover of a bad cover,

I listened again, and I'm still not sure (which really shocks me!!) - who's singing lead on the Beatles version? It actually sounds more like Gerry Marsden than any one of them to me! I guess it's Paul, but I think John would have done a better job. (Now someone's going to tell me it's John, and make me even more embarrassed than I am already!)

I became suspicious and thinking Beatles when someone mentioned we would be surprised when artist #4 was brought to light! So I listened back, still not able to reveal the singer! And I own the BBC recordings. It's Paul yes, and this recording predates the hit version of SBJ. Small surprises like this makes this game fun!
