We were fortunate enough to experience our first Thanksgiving last year while visiting our daughter in NH.

It was a very enjoyable evening with a large group of our daughters friends at the camp, and so much food !!!!

The pumpkin pie though, was an acquired taste IMO.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone :D :D

Its 7:30 AM here and the house already smells like food!!

Looking forward to a nice Tryptophan buzz this afternoon.

Everyone have a Happy Thanksgiving, and just remember to wear pants with the elastic waistband, that way you can eat more...

Thankfully (no pun intended), I only have to go about 10 minutes down the road to my Dad's...no driving...YAY

Thanks for enlightening me, Jeffrey & Tony! (Hear, i give you thanks cause it's thanksgiving... but i am ready to thank you any other day as well, with great pleasure :D )
Sheena, don't forget to OVER EAT until you can't move or breathe
— with my eating possibilities dependent on my dimensions, it would take about one tenth of Jeffrey's list or perhaps 20 g of each. :P

I can't do it, I JUST CAN'T DO IT....I guess I'm just too traditional. Gimme good 'ol New England style Thanksgiving cooking....INCLUDING the Oyster Stuffing! SOUNDS GROSS I know, (I don't even like oysters) but it makes a heck of a stuffing!

We have about 20 people coming over today, I'll see if I can get a few pictures of the feast before everyone tears into it!

Sheena, my pleasure. The "boss" is allowing me off of my diet for today & Christmas so I'm looking to make up for the last 2 months!

Happy Thanksgiving to all here in the States.

Even though I am from the old time imperialists, I love it!

My favourite holiday of the year by far...
