From 8-10 this morning they were giving 20% off their normal sale price; I went there to buy a Radial PRODI which is $80.00 - 20% bringing it down to $72.00. When I got home and took the DI out of the bag I noticed that what the sales drone gave me was the PROD2 instead, the stereo version of the PRODI. That sells for $140.00, which with the discount shoud be $112.00! I checked my receipt and it lists the PROD2 on it so I guess I will keep it; I was considering exchanging it but since the sales slip does show the PROD2 for $72.00 who am I to look a gift horse in the mouth. Nice of GC to give me 49% off. This is not the first time something like this has happened at my local GC.

Good thing GC management doesn't peruse this forum or some sales drone might be out of a job!
Re: GC Thanksgiving sale
I'm not so sure about that as the invoicing system on their computers spit out the receipt with ProD2 @ $72.00. If the receipt said ProDI @ $72.00 and I was given the ProD2 then yes, he would be in trouble but that is not the case.
Re: GC Thanksgiving sale
I was there at 8:00AM.
Pretty crazy crowd..local rock radio station was doing a live feed from the parking lot, handing out donuts and coffee.
I wanted a 2 space SKB rack for my QSC power amp and they didnt have any. Surprised? Nah..
Seems like everytime I ask a question in that store they all look at me like Im from another planet., so,,I usually get frustrated and leave.

Re: GC Thanksgiving sale
Yes, I was there when my local GC opened at 8:00 AM this morning. I almost bought a Fender Players 60's Strat (Sonic Blue), but I couldn't bring myself to do it. I did notice that they had a pair of Epiphone Casinos (Natural). They looked a little different from any of the Casinos that I own. On closer inspection I saw that they are now marked 'Made In China'. I've got several very nice Korean Casinos and an excellent Japanese Elitist. The hardware looked even cheaper than the Korean guitars and the finishes had numerous flaws. I'm sticking with the Elitists from now on...

Hey Scott, I do have a 2 space SKB case. It's the "better" one with o-ring lids front and back. Condition is excellent used....just a few very minor scuffs/scratches that may have been there when I bought it new since it never left the house. They look to be about $140 new so I was thinkin' $80 shipped (1/2 new price plus a low estimate on shipping was how I cam up with the price). Let me know....I can send some pics if you like.
