Gun

Post by longboard_ric »

The Gurvitz brothers formed this band in 1967, and had a worldwide hit with Race With The Devil. The band was short lived, though Adrian Gurvitz went on to play with Ginger baker and Graeme Edge amongst others. I still enjoy their music today.

Roy here's where I need some help. The flip side of RWTD (in Oz at least) was a song called Sunshine. I actually have the old 45 buried somewhere here at home, but can't find it at present. You wouldn't know where I could find an MP3 of Sunshine I could download.

If anyone can do it Roy, you can !!! :D

Was that the same Race with the Devil as originally done by Gene Vincent and the Bluecaps Shane?

Thanks to Roy !!!!!! What a Champion :D

I now have not just the song but the whole album !!!

Hi Bob :D

I am not familiar with the Gene Vincent version but I have checked the lyrics and it is not the same song.

RWTD by The Gun though, is certainly worth listening to.
